CONSAM Tathya Dialer - Privacy Policy
Last updated: 27 August 2026
CONSAM Tathya Dialer ("the app") is provided by CONSAM Telecom for its staff and customers to use their CONSAM phone-system extension. This policy explains what the app accesses and why.
What the app connects to
The app connects only to CONSAM Telecom's own phone system and its push/update gateway. It does not send your data to any advertising network or unrelated third party. It contains no advertising or analytics SDKs and does not use an advertising identifier.
Information the app uses
- Your extension and password - stored on your device to sign in to the CONSAM phone system, transmitted only to that system over an encrypted connection (SIP over TLS/WSS).
- Voice call audio - your microphone is used during calls. Audio is carried, encrypted (DTLS-SRTP), to the CONSAM phone system to connect the call. The app does not record or store call audio.
- Contacts - if you grant permission, the app reads your phone's contacts so you can call them, and lets you add or edit contacts. Your contacts are used on your device only and are never uploaded.
- Call history and messages - your recent calls and 1:1 text messages are stored on your device. Messages are sent between extensions through the CONSAM phone system (encrypted in transit).
- Device push token - a Firebase Cloud Messaging token is registered with the CONSAM gateway so the app can be woken for incoming calls. It identifies the device to the gateway only.
Permissions
Microphone (calls), Contacts (dial and manage entries, on-device only), Notifications (call alerts), Phone/Telecom and foreground service (reliable calls), display-over / full-screen (incoming-call screen), and Internet/network state (connect to the phone system).
Data sharing and retention
- The app does not sell or share your personal data with third parties.
- On-device data (contacts access, call log, messages, credentials) is removed from the device when you sign out.
- Records held by the CONSAM phone system (such as call detail records) are managed by your CONSAM administrator under CONSAM's own data practices.
Security
Signalling is encrypted with TLS; call media is encrypted with DTLS-SRTP.
Your choices
You may revoke the microphone or contacts permission at any time in Android Settings; the related features will stop working. Signing out clears your account and local history from the device.
